Introduction

WentoCart brings a storefront and an admin panel together in a self-hosted Laravel application. The admin uses React and Inertia; the storefront uses React with built assets included in the merchant package.

1. Choose your installation

For a new merchant store, use the ready-to-install ZIP. For development, use a source checkout with Composer and Node.js. The two paths have different build requirements.

2. Prepare your environment

Select hosting with PHP 8.3 or newer, a MySQL or MariaDB database and HTTPS. Point the domain document root to the application’s public folder.

3. Start your store

Run the setup wizard, create an admin account and optionally load the merchant demo pack. Then review store settings, products, shipping and offline payments before testing an order.
